Hi, I’m Iridium, but I answer to the name Stella (please refer to ‘Iridium’ though when inquiring about me as that’s the name all of my records are under). I was adopted from Mostly Mutts as a kitten a couple of years ago. While in my previous home, the other kitty was not accepting of me and often bullied me. I was diagnosed with a neurological condition known as cerebellar hypoplasia in my previous home and – while I can live a long, normal kitty life with this condition – I would do best in a quieter home.
• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I was not well accepted by the other kitty in my previous home. I may be fine another kitty, but not one with a dominating personality. If you have a nice kitty at home, we should meet and see if we can be friends. / Dogs unknown / Older children in my new home may be nice (as I am looking for a calm and quiet home), but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitty, and – of course, let’s meet!
• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: My foster says I am ‘a very sweet and quiet’ gal. I have a very loud purr to show my appreciation for your attention. A perfect match for me would be with an older person in a quiet home. I’m not a huge cuddler and prefer to approach you at my leisure. My super cute personality is sure to bring a smile to your face. While my foster is working, I’ll paw at her as if to say, ‘take a break for a second and pet me, will ya?’. I’ll sleep near my foster, but usually close to her feet or in my fluffy bed.
• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I had issues with eliminating outside my litter box in my previous home, but that was likely due to having a bully sibling, as my litter box habits have been great in my foster home.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to play and especially like little stuffed mice. I sometimes enjoy chasing after a play wand, too. Mostly, I spend my time enjoying my person’s cuddles and petting, as well as napping nearby. / I can’t think of any dislikes, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!
• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, combo tested negative and spayed.
