Hello – I’m Shitake! My siblings and I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control. We were so happy to be on the journey to our new home and spent time in a wonderful foster home before taking up residence in the Kitty Aquarium at the shelter. My siblings have been adopted, and I hope to meet my new family soon, too!
• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I got along very well with my siblings, as well as the adult cats in my former foster home! I have made friends with the other kittens in the Kitty Aquarium, so I may enjoy another kitty in my home. If you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet! / Dogs unknown / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet!
• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: Like my siblings, my foster described me as a sweet and playful kitten. I stay busy – playing both independently and with other kitties. Once I’ve burned off some energy, I will happily settle down in a lap for some cuddles. The shelter volunteers who now care for me say I am a sweet kitten and will add lots of love to my new home!
• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to play, play, play! My favorite toys are stuffed mice and any toys with catnip. I enjoy hanging out with people, while I collect all the snuggles on a comfy lap. / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!
• MEDICAL: I’m current on my kitten shots, microchipped and neutered.
