Hello! I’m Brent! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control. I am sure to win your heart at first sight with my handsome sleek coat and unique eyes. In addition, I am simply a great dog – ready to be your new best friend! I spent some time in the prison/foster training program off site and learned a lot!
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers describe me as a ‘friendly and curious wiggle worm’ – lol. I was sweet and calm for my shelter bath and – though I have plenty of puppy energy, my curiosity finds me sitting back and observing all the goings on at the shelter at times. Playful and loving, I am sure to bring lots of love to my new home! / My energy level is 7-8, so I’d like to be active with my family.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having accidents on the shelter schedule, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I like toys (especially tennis balls!) and love it when the volunteers bring them out for a play session. After playtime, I am all about the cuddles. I like going for walks, so let’s do that together. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.
• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am taking an over-the-counter joint supplement (Cosequin) to help strengthen my joints as I currently favor one front leg slightly over the other.
