Cambria

Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Secondary Breed: Calico
Status: Adoptable

A VERY SWEET KITTY: 2 years old / 7.5 lbs.

Hi, my name’s Cambria – a lovely calico girl! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am grateful to be getting lots of love and attention in a wonderful foster home while I wait for the day I meet my new family!

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I get along with the other adult cats in my foster home – making fast friends in just a couple of days with the most social one (after the typical initial cat hissing, etc.), and eventually co-existing with the others. I may enjoy having a kitty friend in my new home, so if you have a nice kitty at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / I think I’d get along well with a calm, cat-friendly dog. There is a 65ish pound dog who lives in my foster home, and she is very excited when new cats come around and wants to test them to see how much annoyance they can take. I’m not shy and stand my ground. We now exist fine together, so a kitty-friendly (or kitty-tolerant) dog in my new home may be fine. Let’s meet! / Children in my new home may be nice, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitty, and – of course, let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: I am a sweet and social kitty who wants to be where my people are. I am very adaptable and don’t go through the usual hiding period that some kitties do while they get used to new situations - a confident and comfortable girl! Not necessarily a lap kitty, I do like to be close by – at your side or your feet. I gladly accept all types of affection. My foster describes me as a ‘great kitty’. Plan to meet me soon, and I bet you will agree!

• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained and have been using the Tidy Cat Breeze system in my foster home (much less mess!).

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I’m a people cat and like to be at someone’s feet, rubbing on them and grabbing them to use as a kick toy, bunny kicking with my back feet … no worries, as I don’t use my claws when doing it. Being picked up and loved on, getting kisses and head scratches is just fine with me. I like lots of petting, but I will turn and give a play swat to tell you when I’ve had enough. I love toys – especially catnip ones, and I can hear a treat bag rattle from far distances! Lol / I can’t think of any dislikes, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, combo tested negative and spayed.

I am looking for a great family to give me a loving home! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
