Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Secondary Breed: Tortoiseshell
Status: Adoptable

REMEMBRANCE THEMED KITTEN: 3.5 months old / small

Hi, I’m Locket! My sister and I found ourselves at animal control and were grateful when Mostly Mutts made us part of their rescue family! Once safely with them, we immediately went to a great foster home, where we have thrived while waiting for our furever families to find us!

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I get along great with my sister and have met the cat that lives in our foster home. I think I liked her more than she liked me, so if you have a kitty at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be friends. If you want twice the kitty love, my sister and I are a very cohesive pair and would love a home together (after all, two kittens are better than one! - lol) / I growled and hissed at the dog in my foster home and just ran away. They did not give chase, so a kitty-friendly dog in my home may be fine if we give each other our space. So, if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet / There aren’t any children in my foster home, but I have met the neighbor’s gentle children and enjoy their company, so let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: I am a bit more adventurous and inquisitive than my sister, and I let her check things out before I join in whatever is happening. Both my sister and I were super shy when we first arrived in our foster home. We will tolerate being held for short periods now but are not what you would call ‘lap kitties’. My loving side is emerging, and I will approach my people for some petting and affection. I am active and playful and don’t sit still for long!

• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I am litter trained with no accidents, though a litter box with a lid may work best as I do like to dig a lot. My foster mom says my sister comes in after me to be sure I have covered up sufficiently – silly sisters!

• LIKES/DISLIKES: Like my sister, I love to bat around plastic balls, balls with bells, feathered objects, mice(stuffed toy), really any type of ‘cat toys’. I also enjoy chasing my sister around and rough housing with her. I also learning that my people give good cuddles / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!

• MEDICAL: I’ve started my kitten shots, but you must finish those for me as I grow. I’m spayed, microchipped and combo tested negative.

I am looking for a wonderful family to love me furever! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
