Rambler

Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Secondary Breed: Tuxedo
Status: Adoptable
A SWEET AND PLAYFUL KITTEN:  2 – 2.5 months old / small

Hi, my name’s Rambler!  I came to Mostly Mutts as a single kitten from animal control.  My foster mom gave me my name because of my wobbly walk.  Turns out malnourishment in my early days caused me to have a lazy eye and some balance issues, so I wobble – or ramble – so, I’m Rambler!  They say my eye may improve as I grow, but I think it adds to my character, don’t you?  I can’t wait to meet my furever family soon!

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS:  I am interested in the cats in my foster home, but they are much older and not interested at all in playing with me.  I may benefit from a kitty playmate though, so if you have a nice kitty already, let’s meet / I have only seen one dog and – in typical kitten fashion – I hissed and spit at him.  If you have a kitty-friendly dog, let’s meet and see if we can be friends / I may enjoy kids in my new home, but I am a bit bitey when hands are involved in play, so toys are best and no very small children that may get hurt. My foster mom is working with me on this.  But, if you have gentle, older children at home who know how to handle a kitten, let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION:  As an only kitten, my foster mom serves as my playmate, getting down on the floor with me and showing me how to ‘kitten’.  I am playful and also really smart, as I seem to be able to figure out that the moving toys start at my foster mom’s hand.  I am also a pretty fearless kitty – never afraid to jump and leap from the bed like Superman.

• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS:  I am doing well learning my litter box skills.  Mom sometimes has to pick up after me near the box, but I am getting the hang of it really well !

* LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love to play!  My favorite kitten toys are crinkle toys and play wands, and if you have a play wand that’s also a   crinkle toy, even better!  I like to investigate and often find my favorite spot burrowed in a blanket or pillowcase.  My foster mom even found me once under the fitted sheet… when it was on the mattress.  How I got the is a mystery and … I’ll never tell.  LOL  I like to groom my foster mom after our play session and then take a  nap, waking up with a stretch and the sweetest purrrrrr / I don’t like it  when my foster mom works on the computer, as I want her attention.  I thrive on it! Sometimes, she sends me to the other room for a ‘coworker break’.  LOL

• MEDICAL:  I’ve started my kitten shots, but you must finish those for me as I grow. I’m microchipped and combo tested negative.  I'm not yet neutered due to my small size, but it is required and will be done as soon as I grow a little more.  Mostly Mutts will cover that cost with one of their vets, so local adoptions only, please.  You can adopt me through the Mostly Mutts shelter after you have an approved application.

I am looking for a loving family to give me a great home!  My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
