Breed: Shepherd
Secondary Breed: Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog)
Status: Adoptable

A SWEET & FRIENDLY DEAF PUPPY: 3 – 4 Months old / Currently 17 lbs. and growing

Hello, my name is Beverly! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control. They brought me into the Mostly Mutts family, and I could not be more grateful. I’m getting lots of good care here, and I can’t wait to meet my new furever family – hopefully soon!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met some dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so I would likely enjoy having another dog to play with in my new home. If you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / I haven’t met kitties yet, but I’m young so I’d likely do well with them if they like puppies. / I haven’t met kids, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over and nibble on since I’m a puppy and because I can’t hear. Let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a loving and snuggly girl who has an exuberant personality. I tend to match your energy level, so if you show a calm demeanor, I am a little calmer also. I’m quite playful and engage in typical puppy nippy play but seem to know limits pretty well. My sweet, affectionate nature is sure to bring lots of joy to my new home! / My energy level is 5-7.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog. I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I’ll be learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer. Since I am deaf, I am working specifically with my trainer learning commands with the assistance of a vibration collar. Mostly Mutts can fill you in on the process and how to proceed with my continued training. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I’m very young and have not been potty trained yet, so I’ll need my new family to teach me my potty manners.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love attention and giving and receiving affection. Great play sessions in the Mostly Mutts play yard are wonderful fun for me, so I am sure I would enjoy romping with you in a fenced in yard in my new home. I didn’t love my first bath and sounded like a husky to register my complaint, but – a peanut butter lick pad made my next bath more enjoyable, so I am definitely a fan of yummy treats. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and spayed. I am deaf, so I have special training needs, and my trainer can answer questions about that for you.

If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
