A HAPPY-GO-LUCKY GIRL:  2 years old / 39 lbs.   Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi, my name is Bunny – and if you think that name doesn’t fit me – just wait until you see me try to corral a tennis ball!  I hop with my paws up, in true bunny fashion!  Squeaky toys are fun too as well as a variety of others.  I am as affectionate as I am fun and will crawl into your lap to give you kisses at a moment’s notice.  The volunteers call me a ‘squishy little love bug’ which suits me just fine.  I have enrolled in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I’ve already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, and ‘leave it’ commands and accepting nice strangers without jumping. I’ll be learning lots of great commands, stay tuned for updates!  I am also working on my leash manners, as I am a strong and jumpy gal on my walks. I take treats gently and am a people pleaser, so my training should be fun for both of us.  I am doing really well on the shelter schedule with my potty manners, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home. When I first came to MMs, I didn’t like the dogs I met at the shelter. I was very stressed when interacting with other dogs, and I growled and lunged at them. However, after working with my trainer I now feel comfortable interacting with other dogs, and I’ve had some great play dates with the other mutts. So, if you have a friendly doggie at home, let’s meet to see if we can be friends too!  I have met older kids (age 10+) at the shelter and got along well with them.  Because I am a bit jumpy, playful and active, best no very young children in my new home. I’ll be a wonderful best friend, and if you’re looking for a dog to be active with, then come meet me and let my beautiful golden eyes and sweet smile melt your heart.  Energy level: 7-9.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
