A SWEET YOUNG LADY: 1 year old / 29 lbs.

Hi, my name is Calista! I was at animal control when Mostly Mutts came to rescue me. I was frightened when I first arrived, but I really took to the volunteers, and now I could not be more grateful. I look forward to finding a family to love soon!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet / Cats unknown / I also haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a very sweet and affectionate girl who freely gives hugs to all the people I meet. I was shy when I first arrived at Mostly Mutts but warmed up quickly when all the loving started coming my way. I am also quite playful and think I would enjoy a fenced yard, where I can have great play sessions with my people / My energy level is 4-6, possibly a little higher once I settle into my new home.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am now a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer. I have mastered the ‘sit’ and ‘come’ commands thus far, so check back soon to see what else I have learned. I also have good leash manners on my walks, though I am not a fan of loading in the car right now. I’m sure I’ll get there when I learn that car rides lead to fun outings with my family / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts / I have had some accidents on the shelter schedule, so please be consistent with this so I’ll finish learning!

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I am a playful girl who loves to run zoomies in the Mostly Mutts play yard, so let’s have lots of fun play sessions in the sun together. I really want to be a lap dog – or, at the very least, be close enough to get and give lots of affection / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I would not be happy if I did not get the love, training and attention all doggies deserve!

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.

I am looking to add lots of fun and love to my new family’s great home! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
