Chunky Monkey

Gender: Male
Breed: Labrador
Secondary Breed: Boxer
Status: Adoptable
“BEN AND JERRY” THEMED PUPPY:   3 months old / Medium to large once full grown
I came to Mostly Mutts with my siblings and we’ve all been doing well in our foster home, having fun and growing!  My siblings have all been adopted, and now I’m ready to find my very own furever family to love and be loved by!
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I love playing with my siblings before they were adopted, and I played a bit rough!  The adult female dog in the home was looking forward to me being adopted soon as I bothered her a good bit - LOL, but now that I don’t have to compete with my siblings for her attention I have calmed down. So, if you have another doggie at home that would like a puppy friend, that sounds good to me! / I haven’t met kitties yet, but I’m young, so I would likely do very well growing up with a kitty cat / Kids in my new home sounds like fun to me– just remember I’m teething and can be a bit mouthy, so perhaps best no toddlers.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m both a playful and a laid-back fellow.  My foster says that I’m a bit goofy, which made me laugh! Hold me like a baby and I’m a big floppy doll in your arms, LOL. / Energy level currently 4-6.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know ‘go to bed’ means to go inside the puppy pen for a yummy treat, and I sleep there all night in my foster home by myself like a big boy. I also respond to “outside” and “inside” to go out and come back in, and I walk nicely on my leash.  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy - so get ready for some training with your new best friend! I’m the mouthiest of my siblings, so have lots of toys handy to redirect me. / You can teach me about crate training / I’m learning to do my business outside and making good progress. If I can’t make it outside, then I use paper. Please continue to be consistent with me so I can master my potty skills.
• LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love to play, and I love people!  I think I’d enjoy a home with more people in it than other dogs, though I like dogs – I just love people more. My siblings were so silly when they’d try to escape from the yard, but I want to stay near my people! I’m learning to play fetch which is great fun too! After play time I love to curl up in your lap for snuggles. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention and training.
• MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and neutered.
I’m a wonderful puppy, so come meet me!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
