VERY ACTIVE & FRIENDLY DEAF GIRL:  2 years old / 53 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi!  I’m Dot!  My exuberant, playful and loving nature makes me a great dog who is looking for my great family to be active with.  I am a deaf girl, but that does not dampen my spirits one bit, as I have a happy nature and want what every dog wants – to love and be loved.  I play hard and can be a bit playfully nippy and I’m a strong puller on my leash, but my trainer in the Mostly Mutts University training program is working with me on both of these things, as well as working on teaching me some commands/hand signals. So far, I’ve learned the ‘stay’ and ‘down’ hand signals, check back soon to see what else I’ve learned!  I absolutely love toys and will even entertain myself with them – so cute!  Check out my photo gallery online, as I really hammed it up for the camera with my toys.  If I am not playing or getting some exercise with you which I need daily, I am seeking affection from my people, so please have lots of petting and tummy rubs waiting for me!  My potty manners have been pretty good on the shelter schedule with just a few accidents, so please continue to be consistent with me so I can master my potty skills.  I’ve met a few other dogs at MM’s and liked them, so if you have a playful dog at home, let’s meet to see if we can be pals too!  I met a nice 10-year-old boy and his younger sister at the shelter, and I did well them, so a home with kids around 10 (or slightly younger) could be fun! Best no younger children though as I did get a little mouthy when the kids ran around near me and I’m a big girl. Energy level: 6-8.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
