AN ENERGETIC, FUN GIRL:  10 – 11 months old / Currently 36 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi, my name is Eliza!  I am a playful snuggle bug who will make one lucky family very happy with my kisses and very playful nature.  I love toys – especially tennis balls, so let’s play fetch!  My playing is a bit mouthy, but – I am still a puppy and – as puppies go – my mouthiness is not overly excessive.  I am a smart girl, and as a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, I’ve already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘stay’, and ‘leave it’ commands, loose leash walking, and proper door etiquette. I’ll be learning lots more, so stay tuned for updates!  I am working on my potty habits now, and in fact, have made great progress in my temporary foster home and had very few accidents when let out on a good schedule. I also slept soundly in my crate through the night without a peep, and I did bark a little in the crate throughout the day, but that may have been due to hearing neighbors come home in the apartment building and thinking it was my foster family. I have a higher energy level, so I’ll want a family that will be active with me and we’ll have so much fun together! I’m good in the car, so I’d love to join you on dog-friendly family outings! I like it when the kids come to the read to dogs’ program - they read to me and I wiggle so happily in my crate and listen. I also met a nice 10-year-old boy and his younger sister at the MM shelter (this time I was out of my crate), and I did great with them.  So, a home with kids around 10 (or maybe a little younger) could be a good fit for me, let’s meet! Best no younger children as I’m still learning not to jump up on folks due to my puppy excitement.  I’ve met some dogs at MM’s and liked them, so if you have a nice, playful doggie at home, let’s meet!  I did meet a kitty when I visited a foster home and we all agree I should NOT live with kitties as I really went after them.  Whether playing ball or just hanging out so you can pet my soft fur, I bet we can have a great life together!  Energy level: 7-9.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
