A SWEET GIRL:  6 years old / 27 lbs.   Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm. Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week. Hi, I’m Eloise!  I am a sweet girl who is initially a bit shy, but my loving and calm nature can’t stay hidden for long, as I warm up to my people pretty quickly. I sailed through my Heartworm treatment and am ready to find my forever home. It is obvious that I have had several litters of pups in the past, but those days are behind me, and I am ready to receive the devotion and attention I deserve in a new loving home.  Being with my people is just the best and I love head scratches and walks (though I walk a bit on the slower side), so let’s start there! I also love toys, and large Nyla bones are my favorite. Medicated baths are helping my dry skin feel better, though baths must be new to me or perhaps I had some unfortunate incidents with a hose, as I’m pretty afraid of the bathing sprayer in the shelter spa, but I’m adjusting to baths in my foster mom’s tub. I know the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and ‘down’ commands, and I bet you can teach me even more!  My potty manners have been great in my foster home after my foster mom diligently worked with me on this skill. My foster mom is so proud of me and reinforces my success! I liked the dogs I met at MM’s, and I really enjoy the other dog in my foster home, though I do try to raid his food bowl so feeding us separately is helpful. So, if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet! I also liked the shelter kitty when I met her, so if you have a friendly kitty, let’s meet. I was in a temporary foster home and nipped a 10-year-old on the arm, (no broken skin) I’m not sure if I was trying to get his attention but it seemed that I wanted attention. In my foster home I nip (no broken skin) for attention and am learning “no ma’am” and more appropriate ways to get the attention I love. I’d do best with much older kids, so let’s meet. Energy level: 3-5, maybe a little higher now that I’ve finished my HW treatment. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
