A SWEET GIRL:  6 years old / 27 lbs.   I am currently going through my Heartworm treatment, so I won’t be at adoptions until mid to late March. I’m still available for adoption during that time, and you can inquire about me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Hi, I’m Eloise!  I am a sweet girl who is initially a bit shy, but my loving and calm nature can’t stay hidden for long, as I warm up to my people pretty quickly.  It is obvious that I have had several litters of pups in the past, but those days are behind me, and I am ready to receive the devotion and attention I deserve in a new loving home.  Being with my people is just the best and I love head scratches and walks (though I walk a bit on the slower side), so let’s start there! I also love toys, and large Nyla bones are my favorite. Medicated baths are helping my dry skin feel better, though baths must be new to me or perhaps I had some unfortunate incidents with a hose, as I’m pretty afraid of the bathing sprayer in the shelter spa, but hopefully I’ll be getting used to them soon.  I know the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and ‘down’ commands, and I bet you can teach me even more!  My potty manners are a work in progress as I have had accidents in my foster home, but my foster mom is working diligently with me on this. I liked the dogs I met at MM’s, and I get along with the other dog in my foster home, I’ve even learned that raiding her food bowl is not polite! LOL I also rode to the vet’s office once with another doggie and we snuggled up together and my tail was quite happy, so if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet! I also liked the shelter kitty when I met her, so if you have a friendly kitty, let’s meet. I was in a temporary foster home and nipped a 10-year-old on the arm, (no broken skin) I’m not sure if I was trying to get his attention but it seemed that I wanted attention.  So, perhaps I’d do best with much older kids, let’s meet.  Energy level: 3-5. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
