Secondary Breed: Mix
Status: Adoptable

A SPUNKY & FRIENDLY GIRL: 5 years old / 36 lbs.

I’m an adorable, sweet girl who was rescued from animal control and is enjoying my time at Mostly Mutts, though nothing will beat a home of my own! I’m currently in the prison foster/training program off site and learning so much!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I’m available to meet.

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  No dogs! I’d like to be your only dog as I didn’t like the dogs I met at MM’s and tried to bite when we played. I’m ok passing other dogs on walks but shouldn’t live with or closely interact with other dogs. / Cats unknown / I’m looking for a home with calm, older children (ages 15+). I met two children at the MM facility (ages 7 and 11), and it made me nervous when they started running near me and I did show my teeth once. I also didn’t like the scooter they were riding, and I went after it (just the scooter, not the children). Please remind the kids to use caution and keep a good distance from other dogs when walking me.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m described as friendly, calm and fun loving, very affectionate as well as confident and playful! / I have a moderate to higher energy level at 5-7.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’ve just enrolled in the Mostly Mutts University training program and I’ll be learning lots of new skills!  I’m already working on my leash manners as I do pull some right now.  I know the commands for sit, down, come, and leave it, and I take treats nicely and I load easily into the car so you can take me places with you / My crate manners are good at the MM facility / I’m doing pretty well on the shelter schedule with a few accidents, and my potty manners were also pretty good in my temporary foster home with just a few accidents.

• LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like to give my people some sweet kisses, I like neck and rear quarter scratches, hanging out with my people and toys!!  I can be a little overly excited with toys, but I calm down quickly once they are put away. I entertained myself and my temporary foster family by chasing the sunlight that reflects off of things in the house or even a flashlight for a few minutes – so cute! I’d also love to sleep in the bed at night if it’s ok with you! / Thunderstorms scare me and make me nervous, and I think I would dislike not being able to get enough attention, love and exercise.

• MEDICAL:   I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.

I’m a great dog looking for a great family to love, perhaps you?   My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
