Greyson

Gender: Male
Breed: Boxer
Secondary Breed: Shar-Pei
Status: Adoptable

A HANDSOME & SWEET GUY:  4 years old / Approx. 47 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption facility is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  I’m a friendly young dog who wants to stop and say ‘hi’ to everyone I see.  I’m so sweet and I love to give kisses—maybe you can rub my ears to say thank you?  I’m a good mix of breeds – we think maybe Boxer/Hound and Shar-Pei, but it’s hard to tell with us mixed breeds.  I was adopted last year but my family developed bad allergies to me, so I’m back with MM’s looking for another great home!  My former family loved me a lot and were so sad to not be able to keep me forever.  In my former home and at MM’s I’ve been friendly with all the other dogs I met.  So, if you have a nice dog at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals, though I may be a little toy and treat possessive, so you’ll want to test that with other dogs.  I met the nice shelter kitty and was respectful of her too, so maybe I could be friends with a kitty in your home, let’s meet.  I’m an active fellow and I’d love a family that will be active with me and take great care of me and too!  In the past I was a bit noisy at times, so apartment life may not be the best fit for me.  I did well with my potty manners both in my previous home and at MM’s on a good schedule.  I’m food-motivated so keep an eye on me as I may check out what’s on the counter.  My food-motivation has come in handy, as I’ve proven to be highly trainable. I’m a graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program, and I know the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘down’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’, ‘go to your place’, and ‘go outside’ commands as well as loose leash walking, proper door etiquette, and accepting nice strangers without jumping. I loved the kids in my former home, I think they were around 10 years old and up, I also liked the 10-year-old I met at MM’s, and my nature is so friendly that I’d likely do well with kids a little younger too, but best no toddlers that I may bump over or whack with my enthusiastic wagging tail.  Energy level: 5-7.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
