“VOLCANO” THEMED PUPPY:  2 - 3 Months old / Medium to Large once full grown  Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi, my name’s Krakatoa!  My siblings and I arrived at Mostly Mutts after being found in a plastic bag in the woods on a cold February day at only about 5 days old.  First animal control helped us, then we went to Mostly Mutts and a sweet surrogate momma dog nursed and cared for us in a wonderful foster home.  My foster mom calls me her ‘snuggle bug’, since I am always the first to seek out her lap, where I place my head on her shoulder and make myself right at home there.  If I am not sleepily snuggling, I am all about playing and will fetch sticks, toys, shoes – anything you throw!  I love playing with my siblings and people alike.  Please be vigilant about keeping things picked up that don’t belong in my mouth as I’m a true puppy and think that everything does right now.  LOL  I’m a fast runner, so if you run, I will chase to catch up with you!  I’m active, rambunctious and curious about everything.  I really like the dogs in my foster home, so if you have a nice doggie at home, we will likely be good friends as long as they like puppies.  I am learning my potty manners now and keep my crate clean and dry if I am let out every 2-3 hours.  I am still having accidents at night, but my bladder will grow, and I’ll get there.  Also, my siblings and I are all ‘feisty feeders’ right now, so my foster mom slows us down by using the scatter method for feeding us our kibble.  Like all puppies, I'll require a devoted owner who will take the time to train me, so I'll grow up to be a polite and well-trained adult dog.  I also have very sharp puppy teeth so have lots of things for me to chew on and start gently training me not to chew on you or the kids, so we'll all be happy!  Energy level:  Currently 6-8.  I'm neutered, micro-chipped and have started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish my series of puppy shots as I grow.  My adoption fee is $299.00 and includes the above medical treatments, a Martingale collar, leash and engraved name tag too!
