A FRIENDLY & AFFECTIONATE GIRL:  1 year old / 51 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi, my name is Lindsey!   I am a friendly girl who is ready to shower my furever family with lots of love and affection – and kisses!  It won’t take you long to fall in love with me, and I have already shown the MM volunteers how quickly I bond with people.  I will wag my tail to greet you and may even whine a bit when you leave me. I’m a major snuggle bug and will lay up against you in all sorts of funny positions (check out my pictures to see me as a doggie pretzel). I have a very playful nature – whether it is a good game of fetch or chewing on a squeaky toy – I am all in for the fun and adventure!  I like my walks, and I walk well using a harness, though keep a good hold of my leash in case I see a squirrel.  I know the ‘sit’ command, and I take treats nicely, so training should be fun for both of us.  Please make time for some activity with me each day as I have a moderate to higher energy level. I once dug a pretty big hole in one of the play yards at the shelter, and I may use my quick digging skills to try to get under a fence, so please keep an eye on me in the yard until you know my habits. Being with my people, having fun and making them happy is how I like to spend my time.  In fact, I met a nice 10-year-old boy and his younger sister at the shelter and did well with them, so a home with kids around 10 or maybe a little younger could be a good fit for me. I also love the young boy in my foster home, and when we ride in the car together, I lay my head in his lap – so precious! I have not been around other dogs yet, but I’m a friendly girl and seem interested when I see them on my walks, so if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet to see if we can be pals. There’s a bossy kitty in my foster home, and I’ve been respectful of her, so if you have a nice kitty let’s meet to see if we can be pals too! I’ve been calm in my foster home (after a good walk or exercise), and I haven’t been destructive overall – though I did chew up a couple children’s toys and have been known to play hide and seek with shoes. What can I say, I’ve still got some puppy in me! My potty manners are a work in progress, and I’ve had a few accidents in my foster home. My foster mom is working with me on this, and she discovered that I like for you to tell me to “go”. I also haven’t had any overnight accidents, so please be consistent with me so that I can master my potty skills. They describe me as a happy and joyful girl.  I think those are great things to add to my furever home, don’t you?   Energy level: 5-7.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
