A FUN COMPANION FOR YOU: 2 years old / 45 lbs.

Hi, my name’s Muriel, I am a beautiful girl with a super soft coat! When I came to Mostly Mutts, I had obviously endured some type of accident, as I was dragging my front left foot and was in obvious pain. Since being rescued I quickly went to the vet, where my painful leg was amputated. True to the resiliency of dogs, I don’t miss a beat as a ‘tripod’ and don’t appear to miss my leg – or the pain it was causing.

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met some dog’s at MM’s and did well with the calmer dogs, but I did not care for the super hyper ones, so I growled at them. I was still healing from my surgery, so it could have been that I was protecting myself. So, if you have a dog at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown / I’ve met some nice children at Mostly Mutts, and we had a good time together. I am a bit jumpy and mouthy when I run and play, so kids over age 10 would likely be a good fit for me, and – of course - let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a super sweet and social girl, who doesn’t let my leg amputation slow me down one bit. I have a gentle nature, and I can sure be playful when my people are around / My energy level is currently 4-6 and it may go up a little after I’m fully recovered from my spay and amputation.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am now a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer. So far, I have mastered the ‘sit’, ‘down’ and ‘come’ commands. I look forward to learning even more during my training sessions, so check back soon to see my progress / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts / I’m doing well with my potty habits on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love my people and relish being in their company. I like to run and play, so let’s plan on lots of great play sessions together / I can’t think of any dislikes, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention on which I thrive!

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.

I am looking for a wonderful family to love and cherish me furever! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
