‘P’ THEMED PUPPY: 5 - 6 Months old / Medium once full grown

Hi there, I’m one of the seven fun-loving “P” themed puppies that animal control helped, and then I made my way to Mostly Mutts with my siblings. I don’t recall what my conditions were before, but my siblings and I all had sore paw pads and stains from not being well cared for. I think we may have spent a lot of time in a crate not having our needs met. But that’s all behind us now and we’re all raring to go and find our furever wonderful families!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I love my siblings and have liked all the dogs I have met at Mostly Mutts so I would likely enjoy another dog to play with in my new home. If you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / I haven’t met kitties yet, so let’s meet. / I haven’t met kids yet, but I’m a typical happy and playful puppy, so if you have kids let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over with my puppy enthusiasm.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m described as a very sweet and friendly puppy who is happy to spend time with the nice volunteers that come to visit and care for me. I was calm and sweet for my bath which my bather appreciated. I haven’t had a chance to be in a foster home yet, so I don’t know if I’ll have this breed trait, but please understand that I’m a herding breed pup, so my natural instinct is to herd things by nipping at their heels – kids, other pets, etc. It’s not a mean behavior – it’s instinct, so keep this in mind and give me an outlet to be active with you! / My energy level is currently 5 – 7, but this may increase as I grow so I’ll want some regular exercise.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m a new member in the Mostly Mutts University training program and I’m looking forward to learning a lot! So far, I know the ‘sit’ command. I’m also looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / I’m learning my crate manners now, but I don’t know yet to keep it clean. / I’m at the very beginning of my potty training and will need you to teach me this. My former situation seems to have had no training or care in this area.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love people, toys, playing and food! Squeaky toys seem to be my favorite right now. I use a slow feeder bowl at Mostly Mutts because I tend to eat way too fast, and this helps slow me down. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and spayed. I came in skinny, but I’m gaining weight now.

If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
