AN ACTIVE AND SWEET GUY:  2 years old / 10 lbs. and needs to gain some weight   Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi there, I’m Phantom!  I’m new to MM’s and my foster home but let me tell you a little about what the folks here have learned about me so far and what my former owners said.  I lost my home as my former family said they could no longer care for me.  Can’t remember why?  Anyway, I came in looking like I hadn’t been groomed in a very long time, so I had to get shaved down from one of the nice volunteers.  It feels much better for sure!  In my foster home, I’m not a lap dog, but I do like being next to you or nearby, and I’m definitely a people dog.  I’m still settling in and learning the lay of the home, but I haven’t been destructive which is good, and I like the open-door crate and will go in and out of it during the day.  My potty-training needs work, so make sure you will take the time that’s needed to teach me this properly.  I’m pretty active and would enjoy a family member who will be active with me!  I’ve been friendly with everyone I’ve met so far including the neighbor kids that are 5 to 8 years old, though I don’t see myself being carried around by kids.  My former family also said that I did well with kids too, but best no very young kids that may step or fall on me.  I like car rides and toys, and I walk well on my leash too.  I’ve been very affectionate and generous with my kisses!  I also love treats and my food which is good because I should gain a little bit of weight to get to where I need to be.  I’ve been fine with the other little dog in my foster home, but we haven’t played yet.  My former owner said that I liked some dogs, but not all dogs, so if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet!  I love ear and belly rubs and am very much a people dog, so I think I may be sad if you’re away at work all day.  That’s all for now!  Energy level: 5-7+.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
