Punch

Gender: Male
Breed: Labrador
Secondary Breed: Mix
Status: Adoptable

A LIVELY & AFFECTIONATE PUPPY: 6 - 7 months old / Currently 45 lbs.

Hi, my name is Punch! I was adopted a few months ago as a young puppy, but I lost that home due to no fault of my own (allergies), so I’m back with Mostly Mutts in a great foster home while I wait for a great family to adopt me!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I get along great with the other young dog in my foster home! We play and have lots of fun together, and I’ve learned to leave the older dog alone as she doesn’t want to play with me. I’d love another dog to play with in my new home, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown / I liked the 10-year-old girl I met when formerly fostered and my previous family reported that I liked kids, so let’s meet! Best no toddlers that I may bump over with my higher puppy energy.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a super sweet, happy-go-lucky pup with a friendly and very playful nature! I’m also enjoy cuddling with my foster and the younger dog in the family, and my tail is always wagging happily. They say that I’m the sweetest boy and I sure like to hear that./ My energy level is pretty high at 6 - 8, so I will be depending on you to help me expend my energy with sufficient exercise and fun activities together. I do settle and play with a toy when my foster is busy.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I have learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’ and ‘shake’ commands so far, so I bet you can teach me lots more as my fosters say that I’m smart and pick up on things quickly. I just need a family that is committed to teaching me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog, so we’ll all be happy. / I don’t love the crate in my foster home, so I’ll bark and whine at first, but I settle after about 10 minutes. At night, I tend to wake up four to five hours after bedtime, so perhaps you can let me sleep elsewhere in my new home. I’ve had a few accidents in my crate, too – but I’m still young, so I’m sure I’ll learn. / I’ve had a few accidents, but I’m pretty good at going to the door – however, if you don’t see me right away, I can’t hold it yet. I’m still a baby, so I’ll need you to finish potty training me.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love squeaky toys and other toys to chew on! I like all the people I’ve met in my foster home so far and since I’m very affectionate I like to get attention from everyone. I enjoy following the other dog in my foster home around so I can be close to her either playing or resting. Exploring in the backyard with my friend is fun and I bet I’d like to play some ball out there with you, too. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough exercise, love, attention and training.

• MEDICAL: I’m current on my vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I have some allergies/skin issues, so I’ve started on an allergy medication called Apoquel that I’ll need to stay on in my new home.

I am looking for a family dedicated to my continued training and to making me a cherished family member! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
