AN ACTIVE GUY READY FOR FUN:  4 years old / 29 lbs.

Hi, my name is Sam! I was saved from a bad situation when a rescue group went terribly wrong! Thankfully, I was able to come to Mostly Mutts with several other dogs and I’m doing great and happy to have a new lease on life with a great family! Perhaps you? I got to spend some time in the prison/ foster training program and learned a lot!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts and in the prison/foster training program and did not get along with the male dogs but did well with some of the female dogs. If you have a nice female doggie at home, let’s meet and see if we can be friends. / Cats unknown / I am a lot of dog, so – given my nibbling, jumping and need for some boundary training, I should have only older kids (age 15+) in my new home.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a super active guy who needs an owner that matches my energy level. I am as lively as I am handsome – so, that’s a LOT - lol! I am quite playful, jumpy, and friendly – just need someone dedicated to my training, so I can be an awesome companion to my lucky new family. / My energy level is 6-8+, so get ready to be active with your new best friend!

•SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program so I’ve mastered the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners are coming along, as I have had very few accidents on the shelter schedule. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can completely master my potty skills.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love being active, so I will make a wonderful playmate and walking or hiking companion, perhaps even running – anything that burns off energy in a fun way will make me a happy guy. Toys are fun, and I look forward to great play sessions. Having been denied love in the past, I soak up all the cuddles and petting that comes my way. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get the love, attention, exercise and training on which I thrive.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.

I am looking for an active family – dedicated to my continued training and welcoming me as a valued family member! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
