Wagner

Gender: Male
Breed: Corgi
Secondary Breed: Terrier
Status: Adoptable

YOUR NEW FRIEND IS WAITING:  2 years old / 26 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi, my name’s Wagner!  I am sure glad Mostly Mutts rescued me!  I came to them with a little boo boo on my head – not sure how it got there, but the volunteers are taking good care of me, and it has healed up.  I enjoy nice walks with the volunteers, and they have complimented me on my nice leash manners.  I love my people more than toys (not quite sure what those are for just yet), and I don’t hesitate to find a nice soft lap when it is available.  The crate is not my favorite place, as I would just rather be with you.  As a new student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, I am learning lots of great doggie skills that are sure to impress my new family.  Check back soon to see my progress!  I take treats nicely, so my continued training should be fun for us.  I’ve met some other dogs at MM’s and did not like them – if they got too interested in me and too close, I tried to bite them, so I’m looking to be your only dog!  I haven’t met cats yet, so we would have to carefully meet.  My potty habits are pretty good on the shelter schedule with just a few accidents.  Please continue to be consistent with me, as that is the key to mastering my potty skills. I met a nice 10-year-old boy and his younger sister at the MM shelter and did well with them, so a home with kids around 10 (or maybe a little younger) could be a good fit for me! Just remember the kids shouldn’t walk me due to my dislike for other dogs. Energy level: 4-6.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
