A PRETTY LITTLE LADY:  10 years old / 10 lbs.   Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi, I’m Abby – a lovely little dog who lost my home due to my family having medical issues.  I just love my people once I’m comfortable with them, and I do have my favorites like lots of little dogs so.  You probably won’t see how sweet I am at adoptions as it’s pretty overwhelming for me there and I can be a little nippy due to the stress.  When I went into my foster home, my foster mom gave me a couple of days to warm up and settle in.  Now that I’m comfortable I am a lovable, cuddly sweetheart who will follow you everywhere.  I was sweet with a couple of calm visitors in the home too, just let me come to you and don’t rush me.  My potty manners were good in my former home, though I did use pee pads as well as go outside.  In my foster home now, I do well outside when my foster mom stays with me, and she gives me ample time in the yard or on walks to handle my #2 business so that I don't do that inside.  Sometimes a girl just needs a minute, ya know?  I am living with several dogs in my foster home and am doing fine with them. I don’t play with them much, but occasionally I do play with one of them.  I like soft toys to play with too.  My former owner said I was a bit possessive of treats and toys in my previous home, so if you have a dog, let’s meet to see if we can be pals.  I am respectful towards the kitty in my foster home.  I avoided her at first but then slept in a bed nearby once I felt more comfortable, so if you have a nice kitty at home let's meet to see if we can be buddies!  Also use caution at doors, so I don’t slip out as I wouldn’t want to get lost or hurt.  I ride well in the car, and I'll use your lap as my car seat if you don't mind.  Give me a little time to warm up to you and settle into my new home, and I’ll blossom into a loving and loyal friend!  My former owner said that I’d be best in a home without children or with older calm and sweet children.  Come meet me and see if I can be your new best friend!  Energy level: 4-6 I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
