"MUSICAL" THEMED MAMA: 2 years old / Approx. 17 lbs.

I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control very pregnant & had 8 puppies who have all found their homes & now it’s my turn! I was adopted briefly, but it didn’t work out as the family enjoyed visiting the park which was just too stressful for me as there were a lot of other dogs around (see below). They said I was very well-behaved at home, though!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: No dogs, please. I didn’t like the dogs I met at the park when I was adopted briefly, & I growl & react negatively at times when I see other dogs on walks. I’d do best in a home with a fenced in yard, so I don’t have to deal with the stress of encountering other dogs. / Cats Unknown – though I do pull on my leash to try & get to them when I see them on my walks / I didn’t meet kids in my former foster home or at MM’s, except a 2-year-old who repeatedly kissed my back which kind of freaked me out, so I snapped at her (no contact). If you have calm, older kids, let’s meet as I have a feeling I would like them.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: My former foster mom described me as a ‘joy’ & a ‘gem’ – you can’t get much better than that, right? I am a sweet girl with great house manners, & you are sure to love me. I’m a bit shy & can be nervous in new situations, so give me a little time to settle into my new home please. / My energy level is 3-5.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m a smart girl who responded right away to the ‘off’ command when I got on the furniture in my former foster home. I’m now enrolled in the Mostly Mutts University training program, so check back soon to see what I’ve learned. I already have pretty good leash manners, though I do pull to get to things that catch my eye on my walks. I can temporarily forget my leash manners when I see other dogs on walks, though I’m working on this with my trainer & have made some improvement already. / I was rarely crated in my former foster home & – when I was – it was only for a few hours. I do sleep fine throughout the night in it – emerging when I have had enough beauty sleep – lol. I don’t seem to mind being in there for the few hours I have been crated / My potty habits were good in my former foster home, as I went to the door & whined when I needed to go out. I’m also doing well at MM’s.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I like to play & will bring you my toys to initiate a game of tug-o- war…so cute! I enjoy being with my people & gladly give them my affection once I know & love you. / I would prefer a home without a lot of folks coming & going a lot. I liked being able to get away from all the commotion on Thanksgiving Day – lol.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped & spayed.

I am looking forward to being a ‘real gem’ in my new home! My adoption fee is $299.00, & I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
