READY FOR A GREAT LIFE! - 1 year old / 35 lbs.

Hello!  My name’s Antonio!  When I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, it was clear I had not had the best life thus far.  Multiple body scars and old healing wounds indicated that things haven’t been easy for me.  I don’t remember how I got those, but that is behind me, and I am now focused on becoming one lucky family’s new best friend!
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I have met a few dogs at Mostly Mutts and in the prison foster/training program and did very well with them, so if you have any dogs at home, let’s meet! / Cats unknown / I also haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am super sweet, playful and affectionate with all the volunteers who are caring for me.  I have a curious nature, and load nicely into the car, so I bet we can do lots of exploring together. I’m a true hound mix as I love to sniff things, but I’m easily redirected. The MM photographer called me a gentleman, as I was very well behaved for my photo session recently / My energy level is 4-6.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I participated in the prison foster/training program, where I learned all the great skills needed to become a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program! I know the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘down’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’, and ‘go to your place’ commands, and I walk nicely on my leash, use proper door etiquette, and accept friendly strangers without jumping. I love treats, so I’d enjoy learning even more with you! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts, and when left alone out of the crate in the prison foster/training program I investigated the room and took a few items, but I wasn’t destructive. With time and training I may not need a crate in my new home, but I’ll need to earn this privilege. / I am doing well with my potty habits on shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too.
• LIKES/DISLIKES:  I enjoy being with my people and getting pets and snuggles from them. I love toys, chew bones, and playing fetch. I can also entertain myself with toys for a little bit when you are busy. / I can’t really think of any dislikes, though I would not be happy if I did not get the attention, love and training I deserve.
•MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.
I am looking forward to finding a great furever family to give me a loving furever home!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
