A FEISTY, FUN PUPPY: 4 months old / Currently 14 lbs.

Hi, my name is Bodhi – a cute and feisty young pup who found my way to Mostly Mutts from animal control. I can’t wait to meet my furever family soon!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I get along very well with the other dogs in my foster home and enjoy playing a lot with them, so if you have a nice doggie, let’s meet / I get along with the cats in my foster home, and – depending on my mood – will occasionally chase and bark at them, so if you have a dog-tolerant kitty, let’s meet / I haven’t met kids in my foster home, but I’d likely enjoy older kids as long as they are gentle with me and best no toddlers that may fall on me. Let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: My foster describes me as “small but mighty”. I play fiercely, but I also love fiercely and tend to attach to my favorite person, so I need a home where I am not coddled too much by one person, as to avoid developing separation anxiety or resource guarding. I am a generally joyful little guy, though wary of strangers at first. My playfulness can be downright silly when I get the zoomies with my favorite toy in my mouth. I’m cuddly with my people – until I am ready to play – and that becomes objective number one / My energy level is 5-7+.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. I can be a bit stubborn, so please be patience and persistence with my training / I do pretty well in my crate, as I sleep there through the night. I may protest for about 10 minutes when I first go in, but I do settle down. I haven’t have accidents IN it, but I will hike my leg to the outside, so be sure my crate is sitting on a something that offers protection to the floor / My potty habits are a work in progress. I have done some inside marking, so my neutering and training should help with that. I do give a signal that I need to go out by whining and running around extra crazily. LOL

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I am a very social guy in my foster home and love my foster mom and the other dogs. I really like squeaky toys and things to chew on. Be sure to have sturdy dog chews for me or I WILL help myself to the furniture. I love playing and running zoomies / Though cuddly with my people, I don’t like to be held when I am ready to play, and I don’t like being left alone very much.

• MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and neutered.

I am looking for a loving and kind family to help me with my training and help me be the best dog I can be! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
