AN ACTIVE, ON-THE-GO PUP:  8 months old /Currently 29 lbs.   Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi!  My name is Chelsea!  I am super happy to have been rescued by Mostly Mutts!  I have a little shyness with new people, but my fun and playful personality is emerging more and more each day and I’m sure we’ll be best friends in no time.  Taking walks with the nice volunteers is always fun, and I have a great little prance in my step as we explore the great outdoors together.  The more energy my new family has, the better, since I have lots of it and will want you to help me expend my energy doing lots of fun activities together. I’m a little scared to get into the car at first, but once I’m in I’m calm and happy to be along for the ride – so let’s go lots of fun places together! I love all kinds of toys! I’ve never met one I didn’t enjoy, so let’s play together – and often!  My potty manners are progressing well. I did very well in my temporary foster home with regular outside visits, so please plan to be consistent with me in this area so I can master my potty skills. I met a few dogs at the shelter, and I liked them and was friendly towards them. I also had a lot of fun playing with the other young, energetic dogs in my temp. foster home. Sometimes I wanted to keep playing even after they were done as I didn’t understand why they wouldn’t want to keep playing, but we got along well. So, if you have a playful and energetic doggie at home, let’s meet to see if we can be pals! Since I’m still young and exploring, I’m curious about everything, and I’ll need you to help me learn what I’m allowed to play with. When I wasn’t playing with toys or my doggie friends in my temp. foster home, my favorite place to be was near my people, and I enjoyed laying at their feet while they went about their day. I’ve just enrolled in the Mostly Mutts University training program, so I’ll be working on lots of new skills!  Stay tuned for updates on how I’m doing.  I recently met kids and liked them, though kids 15+ will likely be a good fit for me as I tend to ‘talk’ to kids and because of my jumping.  Like all young dogs, I'll require a devoted owner who will take the time to train me, so I'll grow up to be a polite and well-trained adult dog.  Energy level:  Currently 6-8.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
