Hi, my name’s Cleo! It was my lucky day when Mostly Mutts came for me at animal control. I am grateful to now be a ‘Mostly Mutt’ and on my way to finding my new family to love and be loved by!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I was friendly with them. I also met an older dog in my temporary foster home who didn’t want to play with me, but I respected his boundaries. If you have a nice doggie at home already - let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / Cats unknown / I like the kids I met in my temporary foster home, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a very sweet girl who has been friendly with everyone I have met. When I spent time recently at the Mostly Mutts front desk, I was curious and checked out everything and chewed on a few things I wasn’t supposed to. Oops! My temporary foster said that I was not destructive at all, but that they kept an eye on me and made sure I had lots of toys to keep me busy. My temporary foster did say I have a curious nature and am prone to counter surfing, barking at dogs and people passing by and digging in the yard. She also said that I am one of the sweetest, most affectionate, and loving dogs she has ever been around. I am sure to bring lots of love into my new home / My energy level is 4-6.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am now a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer. I’ve already impressed folks with my list of mastered skills: ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’, ‘come’ and ‘leave it’. I need a little more work on my leash walking. Check back soon to see what else I’ve learned / I didn’t like being in a metal crate at Mostly Mutts, trying to eat my way out so I was moved to a larger room and have done well there. Maybe you have a gated area or small room I could spend time in if left alone at home. / I didn’t have any accidents in my temporary foster home and went straight to the door when I needed to go potty. I tried to snack on my poo, so you may want to pick it up right away. I’ve had good potty habits on the shelter schedule too.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to play with squeaky toys and balls, especially outside. I love blankets on my bed and hanging out on the couch in my temporary foster home, which I was very gentle getting on and off, by the way. I like to ride in the car, but need to be lifted inside, maybe a ramp would help. I also loved sleeping under the covers in bed with my temporary fosters, in case you want me to sleep in bed with you, but they did say I snore a bit – LOL. I am a big fan of belly rubs, as well as all the petting that comes my way. Spending time with the volunteers makes me a happy girl / Other than not being a fan of the flavor of my heart worm preventative, I can’t think of any dislikes, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love, training and attention all doggies deserve!

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.

I am looking for a wonderful family to open their home to me and love me furever! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
