Colden

Gender: Male
Breed: Labrador
Secondary Breed: Hound
Status: Adoptable
A SWEET OLDER PUPPY:  6 months old / Currently 36 lbs.

Hi there!   My name is Colden!  I was a single, sweet older puppy at animal control, and Mostly Mutts knew that was no place for me.  They are helping my find a great furever home – perhaps with YOU!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I have not met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so if you have a nice doggie already, let’s meet / Cats Unknown / I met a 10-year-old boy and a slightly younger girl at Mostly Mutts and did well with them, so let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  Though initially a bit timid, I am a friendly guy once I realize that you are a new friend.  I need to build some more confidence, and the volunteers have already noted that I am becoming a bit more confident as I get more comfortable with shelter life each day / My energy level is 4-6, and that may increase as my confidence increases.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – so get ready for some training with your new best friend.  I have good leash manners, though you may want to keep some kibble handy to encourage me to keep walking as sometimes I freeze.  I am now a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, and I look forward to learning lots of great things with my trainer.  Check back soon to see my progress / I am not a big fan of the crate, but I am learning / My potty habits are a work in progress, as I am having a few accidents on the shelter schedule, so just continue to be consistent with me so I can master my potty skills.

• LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like attention from my people and always enjoy being petted.  Toys are fun, so let’s have some great play sessions together as we build a great friendship / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention and training.

• MEDICAL:  I’m current on my immunizations, micro-chipped and neutered.

I am looking for a loving family to give me wonderful home!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
