ATTENTIVE AND SWEET: 5 years old / 32 lbs.

Hi!  My name’s Dumpling, a loving girl with the cutest wrinkle face!  I’m looking forward to finding my furever home soon! I’m currently in the prison foster/training program offsite & learning so much!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I’m available to meet.

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  No dogs, I met some dogs at Mostly Mutts & at first acted like I wanted to play but then I would go in for a bite. As a result of my dislike of dogs, I’ve bitten two volunteers over being too stimulated by the other dogs in the room my crate was in at MM’s. Since then, I’ve been moved to a private room & am doing great with no incidents. I just don’t like other dogs! / Cats unknown but likely not / I met two kids at Mostly Mutts (ages 7 & 11), & I was a little skittish & flinched a lot. I didn’t show any aggression, but sadly it is clear that I’ve been hit in the past, so a home with older kids (ages 15+) who understand to go slow with me is what I need.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am very sweet & have a social nature that makes me very responsive to people.  I just LOVE them!  I have the best tail wag when I see them, & it travels all over my body to become a ‘body wag’ – so cute!  I’d rather play with my people than toys, as I am not really sure what toys are for right now, I may be slightly hesitant to at first, so just be patient while I warm up to you, then I bet we can be life-long friends  / Energy level 3-5.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  As a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, I know the ‘sit’ & ‘come’ commands, & I’m close to mastering ‘stay’ as well. I walk pretty well on my leash with a little pulling. I also take treats nicely – so my training should be fun for us both.  I currently bolt out of doors, so please use caution so that I don’t risk getting lost or hurt. I didn’t bark very often in my former foster home. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts, & I didn’t need a crate in my former foster home. / I’ve had good potty manners on the shelter schedule & in my former foster home.
• LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like being where my people are for some love & attention & I love to go for walks. / I’m a little shy to the touch on my rear, so go slow with that, please. (I’m becoming less sensitive to this with time). I’m a relaxed gal, so I don’t think I’d like a household with lots of noise & commotion.
• MEDICAL:  I recently had Entropion surgery at animal control, so my eyes feel great now!  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped & spayed.
I am looking for a loving family to provide me with a wonderful home!  My adoption fee is $299.00, & I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
