A SWEET GIRL:  6 years old / 27 lbs.   Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi, I’m Eloise!  I am a sweet girl who is initially a bit shy, but my loving and calm nature can’t stay hidden for long, as I warm up to my people pretty quickly.  It is obvious that I have had several litters of pups in the past, but those days are behind me, and I am ready to receive the devotion and attention I deserve in a new loving home.  Being with my people is just the best and I love head scratches and walks (though I walk a bit on the slower side), so let’s start there!  Medicated baths are helping my dry skin feel better, though baths must be new to me or perhaps I had some unfortunate incidents with a hose, as I’m pretty afraid of the bathing sprayer in the shelter spa, but hopefully I’ll be getting used to them soon.  I’m a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and ‘down’.  My potty manners have also been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that means I will have good potty skills in my new home too.  I like the dog’s and the kitty cat I’ve met at MM’s, so if you have a nice doggie or kitty at home, let’s meet!  I rode to the vet’s office once with another doggie and we snuggled up together and my tail was quite happy.  I was in a temporary foster home and nipped a 10-year-old on the arm, (no broken skin) I’m not sure if I was trying to get his attention but it seemed that I wanted attention.  So, perhaps I’d do best with much older kids, let’s meet.  Energy level: 3-5.  Sadly, I wasn't kept on Heart Worm prevention in my previous home, so I'm HW positive. The good news is that I'll be treated for that very soon and Mostly Mutts will cover the cost of that treatment with one of their vets.  I hope to be with my family before treatment starts!  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
