A FUN AND FRIENDLY GUY: Wire Hair Terrier / Chihuahua mix:  3 yrs. old / 12 lbs.

Hi, my name is Ethan! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control - pretty bruised up and nursing a puncture wound to my leg from a bite by another dog. Lots of TLC has me feeling all better and ready to start the good life with my new family!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I liked the little dogs that I met at Mostly Mutts, but disliked some of the bigger dogs that I met (not all of them though). So, a proper introduction is in order if you have another doggie at home. Let's meet and see if we can be friends / Cats Unknown / I met some kids at Mostly Mutts that were 10+ years old and was a little upset when the boy ran, but didn't mind the girl running. I easily recovered and liked the boy again. Just mentioning this so you can be aware that you will need to supervise me with kids initially. Let’s meet If you have kids around that age or older.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a friendly little guy who doesn’t let my past experiences keep me from being a sweet guy with the volunteers that care for me at Mostly Mutts - letting them hold and pet me. I can be a bit of an escape artist, so kids should not walk me and always be mindful of open doors when I am around, as I don’t want to get lost, or hurt / My energy level is 5-7 so I'll want some regular exercise.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am now a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer. I've already mastered the 'sit' command, so check back soon to see what else I learned / I'm the kind of dog that will not be happy in a crate so if you need to contain me while you're away, perhaps you could try a laundry room or other space like that. I am quite talkative when in my little room at Mostly Mutts, so apartment or condo living may not be the best fit for me (there was a bite related to being put in a crate) / I've had good potty habits on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to get affection from the volunteers, and belly rubs are my favorite. I am a good little walker on my leash and really enjoy my time out and about with the volunteers / I can’t think of any dislikes right now except the crate, but I would not be happy if I did not get enough exercise, love and attention that all doggies deserve!

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.

I am looking for a great home where I will be cherished as a loved family member! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
