Harry Luck

Gender: Male
Breed: Jack Russell Terrier
Secondary Breed: Mix
Status: Adoptable

AN ACTIVE & CUTE FRIEND FOR YOU: 4 months old / Currently 13 lbs.

Hi, my name is Harry Luck! I came to Mostly Mutts with six other dogs from the same home. There were just too many animals for all of us to get the love and attention we deserve, so Mostly Mutts was glad to help, and now I’m on my way to a new home!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I got to go to a short-term foster home along with Vin and I liked the other dog that lived there – as well as playing with Vin. (I was the leader between Vin and me, but submissive with the dog that lived there) So, if you have another doggie at home who would enjoy a puppy friend, let’s meet / I met the kitty in the short-term foster home too and thought it would be a good idea to bark and growl at her, but she got right in and face and hissed, so I backed right off and was fine with her after that. So, if you have a kitty that will stand up to me and tell me the rules, let’s meet / I enjoyed the kids in the home, and they played with me. They were age 2 – 10, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over, nibble on or that may fall on me.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: My short-term foster family described me at very, very smart as well as playful, energetic, friendly, and enthusiastic! I can be a little whiney and barky at times, but in a minor way and in the hopes of getting what I want because I’m so smart. I’m excited and happy and do everything with gusto (including eating, so you will want to get a slow-feeder bowl for my meals). I’m also affectionate and will shower you with kisses and finger nibbles lots of cuddles after lots of puppy playtime / My energy level is 6-8, so plan on being active with me!

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, and I’ve mastered the ‘sit’ command and am working on my leash manners. At times the cars passing by scare me so a street that’s quieter than the one at the MM facility would be nice / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts / My potty skills are a work in progress and I did better in the short term foster home than I do on the shelter schedule – so just know that you will have to finish teaching me this.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy cuddle time and play time, as well as being held and petted (belly rubs are enjoyable too), and I will return the affection with kisses and nibbles on your fingers – then we can cuddle and play again / As mentioned, I don’t care for the many passing cars on my walks, so maybe we can find a less busy walking spot than the roads by the shelter. Other than that, I would not be happy if I did not get the love, training and attention I deserve!

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.

I am looking forward to growing up with a great family that is dedicated to continuing my training and to loving me furever! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
