A BIG FRIENDLY GUY:  5 yrs. old / 93 lbs. & still needs to lose about 15 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  I’m Hogan, a big, lovable guy who has lost 2 homes is just a short time due to no fault of my own.  One was from severe allergies that the family didn’t know they had until adopting me, and the other was due to a divorce leaving me no place to go.  In both of those homes, I was happy as can be and reported to be a great dog!!  So, MM’s has taken me back and is looking for a furever family for me to love!  In both my former home’s I lived with several kids ages 7 - 15 and I loved them, though best no very young kids that I may bump over or accidentally step on.  Unfortunately, I was overfed a lot in one of the homes and have been on a diet since returning to MM’s.  I’ve lost some weight, but still have about 15 more pounds to go to get back to a healthy weight, so please be committed to help me with that!  I like pleasing my people and take correction well.  I’ll need to be your only pet as I’m not fond of other dogs or cats, so I don’t always show my best at adoptions as there are lots of dogs there.  But get me home without other animals, and I’m a love!  I like following my people around in the home, not in a needy way, but just in an "I'll keep you company way" and I was fortunate that there was always someone around in my previous homes, which was so nice.  I like tough chew toys, XL Kongs and bones.  My potty manners were very good, in both of my former homes and I keep my little room at the MM shelter clean too.  I’ve joined the Mostly Mutts University training program, and have mastered 'sit', 'stay', 'come', 'leave it', 'go to your place', accepting nice strangers without jumping, and waiting at doors before walking in/out on command. I've also mastered loose leash walking with my special collar (just ask about that). Stay tuned for other updates on new things I'm learning!  I’m treat motivated, so that will make training fun for me and I think pretty easy since I want to please and just need direction.  Though cut back on my food if you’re using treats to train me.  Ear infections are sadly a part of my life now and you can see that my ears have what’s referred to as cauliflower ears which is caused from years of untreated ear infections.  So, I’ll need my new family to stay on top of my ears.  Come and meet me and let’s see if we can be great together!  Energy level: 6-8.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
