A SWEET LOVER OF PEOPLE:  4 years old / 25 lbs. and needs to gain a little weight
Hi, I’m Jeannie!  I was definitely in need of some tender loving care when Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control.  I was skinny and my ear tips were scabbed and thickened from flea bites – ouch!  Now that I am getting the care I need; my ear tips are healing nicely and I’m working on gaining a few pounds!
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I like the dogs I’ve met at MM’s and I get along with the two dogs in my foster home, so if you have a nice dog already, let’s meet / Cats unknown / I haven’t met kids yet, so if you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump overt!
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a sweet, loving girl who will gladly give you gentle kisses, once I warm up to you.  It only takes a little while for my initial skittishness to wear off, then I am ready to love and be loved on / My energy level is 4-6.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I know the ‘sit’ and ‘come’ commands, and I’m working on my leash manners as I tend to pull on the leash a bit, and I’m sometimes scared when walking so keep a good hold of my leash please. I also ride well in the car and enjoyed an outing at a nearby restaurant with two volunteers. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts, and when the other dogs are barking, you will usually find me encouraging you to come visit me by sitting quietly and wagging my tail. I also don’t mind hanging out in the crate for a little while when my foster family has to leave, but I get lonely there at night and cry, so I sleep on a dog bed in the bedroom and have done well with that. / My potty manners have been great in my foster home, with just a few accidents (it was raining). A fenced in yard is ideal for me as I feel comfortable in the yard in my foster home, but I get scared when I walk out front on the leash, so I may not focus as much on going potty.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I’m learning how fun toys are, and I like to run around in the fenced in yard in my foster home. Being with my people is my absolute favorite, though, and I’m a great little snuggler. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I would not be happy if I did not get enough love, attention and good training.
• MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.
If you are looking for a loving, sweet addition to your home, I may be your girl!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
