VERY SWEET & VERY ACTIVE:  5 years old / Approx. 12 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi, my name is Kellogg!  I am a pretty cocker spaniel girl who is a fun ball of energy!  I came to Mostly Mutts while nursing 4-week-old puppies, who have all been adopted and now I’m ready to find my furever home.  I am super playful, love my doggie toys and really enjoy car rides.  According to my foster mom, I am either “on” (playing and frolicking around the house with a lot of energy) or “off” (recharging my batteries with a nice nap) – but not a lot of in between. I don’t get on the furniture in my foster home - I am seldom still enough to be a lap dog, anyway - but I sure love being petted and getting attention from my people.  Children and dogs – I love them both and have been playing with them in my foster home!  Since I’m an active and smaller girl, best no toddlers in my new home that I may bump over with my playful nature, or that may fall on me and let’s meet.  I think I’d really enjoy another playful dog in my new home, so let’s meet if you have one, and just feed us separately please so I don’t try to eat their food.  I sleep through the night in my crate, keep it clean and am pretty quiet in there, though I will let you know I want out to play when you come home after you have been away.  I also bark pretty loudly at things I see outside, but I listen to my foster mom and stop barking when she tells me to.  I’d love to have someone home for part of the day, as I am high energy and need an outlet to run it off.  My potty manners have been great in my foster home, and I’m working on my leash manners now. I’m making progress, but I’m new to leash training and pull to try and get to whatever catches my attention.  Likewise, caution should be taken around doors and gates, as I DO try to run out open doors and gates. I also know the “quiet” command, and I’m learning “in your crate” now. I am a smart girl who likes her reward treats (the bacon flavor is my favorite!), so this training is going well.  Come meet me soon and let me charm you – just as I have my foster family.  Energy level: 7-8.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
