Breed: Labrador
Secondary Breed: Bull Dog
Status: Adoptable

A FUN AND ACTIVE COMPANION! - 2 years old / Approx. 45 lbs.

Hi, I’m Kizzy!  I was pretty miserable at animal control with a severe case of mastitis.  Enter Mostly Mutts, who got me the veterinary care I so needed.  Once I was all healed up, I got to participate in the prison foster/training program, where I excelled. I’m a happy girl, and I’m ready to find my new family!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: No dogs please. I didn’t like the dogs I met at Mostly Mutts. I’m fine passing other dogs on my walks with a good handler and as long as they don’t react. If another dog gets too close to me, I will react, but I’m easily redirected with treats. / Cats unknown / I met a few kids (10+) at Mostly Mutts and liked them, but was very jumpy, so if you have kids around that age, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over with my excited and enthusiastic energy.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a happy, peppy girl who loves everyone that I meet!  I am easily excited and so fond of all the attention I’m getting now. I aim to please, so when I see that the volunteers are happy to see me, my tail and whole back end really gets going! I’m also am an ‘on-the-go’ type gal, so plan on being active with me so we’ll both be happy.  You’ll notice how friendly and social I am when we meet, and I am sure to thrive on your attention / My energy level is 7-9.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I impressed my trainers when I graduated from the Mostly Mutts University training program in record time – just two days! I know the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘down’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’, and ‘go to your place’ commands as well as loose leash walking, proper door etiquette, and accepting friendly strangers without jumping. I also learned some cool tricks for extra credit – spin, shake, kiss, and bang bang. I’m food motivated and eager to learn, so I’m sure you can teach me even more! / My crate manners are good at MM’s, and I didn’t need a crate in the prison foster/training program. / I have great potty manners on the shelter schedule.

• LIKES/DISLIKES:  I LOVE all toys, especially tennis balls and am always up for a good game of fetch.  I also like all of the petting and attention that comes my way, and I like being active with the volunteers / I can’t think of any dislikes, but I am certainly a ‘people dog’ so I would not be happy if denied the love and exercise that I need.

• MEDICAL:   I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.

I am looking for an active family that matches my energy level with whom I can make great family memories!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
