AN ENERGETIC AND LOVING GIRL:  2 years old / 47 lbs.
Hi, my name is Lucille! I was adopted from animal control, but the other dog in the home and I did not get along, so Mostly Mutts is helping my find another family to love! I’m a fun and smart girl who is currently in the prison foster/training program offsite and learning so much! Please call 770-272-6888 to find out when I’m available to meet.

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I didn’t get along with the dog in my former home and I haven’t liked all the dogs I’ve met at Mostly Mutts but I enjoyed playing with the dogs I met in the prison/foster training program, so let’s meet! I’ll need a good introduction, and I’ll need to meet a dog a few times before I feel comfortable. / No cats, per my former owner / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts but did live with teens in my former home, so teens and up best and let’s meet! Also, kids should not walk me due to my strength and dislike of some other dogs.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am playful, energetic and very intelligent, according to my previous owner. I am also quite affectionate and think of myself as a lap dog – wanting to be close to my people for some affection and love / Energy level: 7-9 so I’ll need regular exercise.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program, and I know ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘down’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’, ‘go to your place’, proper door etiquette, and accepting friendly strangers without jumping. I also well nicely on my leash - a gentle leader helps me remember to let you walk me - and not vice versa, as I can be a puller. Keep hold of my leash around cars, as I seem to want to go after them, so young children should not walk me. I’m smart girl, so naturally I learned some cool tricks for extra credit – spin, shake, kiss, stand, bang bang, and whisper! I also know “leave it” with treats on my paws, so I’m learning patience. / My crate manners are pretty good though at the shelter, I bark loudly when I hear the room door open but stop once I see the nice volunteers who have come to care for me / I was reported to be potty trained in my previous home, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I like my toys and food as well as a game of fetch or find the ball with my tennis ball. I love cuddling with my people at night and sleeping near them / I can’t think of any dislikes, but I would not like it if I did not get the proper exercise, love and attention I deserve.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.

I am looking for an active and loving family to give me a great home! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
