GROWING MORE CONFIDENT EACH DAY! - 2 years old / 17 lbs.

Hello there! My name is Mariah! I came from animal control to Mostly Mutts. It was obvious I had recently had puppies, but those days are now behind me, and I look forward to being a cherished family member very soon!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met a few dogs at Mostly Mutts and did well with them, but I was just a little shy. No aggression shown, I just prefer dogs my size. So, let’s meet if you have another dog at home to see if we would be a good fit! / Cats unknown / I met a few kids (10+) at Mostly Mutts and did well with them, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: When you first meet me, I may be a bit shy or unsure, but I warm up pretty quickly once I know you are my friend. Take me outside, and my shyness returns, as I am very uncomfortable with traffic and outside noise. Though you may be tempted to help me out by picking me up, please let me build my confidence by increasing my leash walking outdoors. I am affectionate and sweet with a bit of playfulness about me / My energy level is pretty active for a little girl at a 6-8, so let’s have some fun together!

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am working on my leash skills and overcoming my nervousness outdoors / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts / I have had just a few accidents on the shelter schedule, so my potty skills are a work in progress. Just continue to be consistent with me so I can finish mastering these skills.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love people once I know they are my friends and show my nature best when inside. Toys don’t interest me as much as people, so perhaps you can show me how fun toys can be / The outdoors makes me uncomfortable in general – especially traffic! Hopefully, we can find a less busy spot than around the shelter where I can get more practice with my leash walking and gain more confidence with this.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.

I am looking for a family committed to helping me grow my confidence by showing me the good life! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
