A LOVING AND PLAYFUL GIRL: 4 Years old / 31 lbs.
Hi, my name is Mathilda! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I’m having a good time in my foster home while I wait for my new family to find me!
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I get along well with the dog in my foster home, as they are pretty docile and pretty much ignore me. On the other hand, I get a bit riled up and nervous when I see a dog across the street on my walks, so – it may depend on the dog. If you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / I pretty much ignore the kitties in my foster home, though I am curious about them. I would likely do well with a dog-friendly (or dog-tolerant) kitty, so let’s meet! / I love the attention I get from the 13-year-old in my foster home, so if you have kids around that age, let’s meet! And best no toddlers that I may bump over.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a sweet girl who is as playful as I am beautiful. Affectionate and loving, I am all about the attention I get from my folks. I’m a great mixture of active and chill. Intelligent and quite adaptable, in my foster home I tend to balance my energy level to my people’s schedule. I can be a bit timid when first meeting new people, and gave a little growl at company once, but that quickly melts away and I am all about getting the love. I think my foster says it best when they describe me as ‘a great dog who is a fantastic addition to our house’ and ‘an easygoing dog who will make someone very happy’. Maybe that ‘somebody’ is YOU! / My energy level is 4-6.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: My foster family is working with me on the ‘sit’ command and I am getting more proficient at that. Next up is ‘lay’, so I will keep you posted on my progress! / I’ve not loved being in a crate in my foster home and whined just a bit. I have not needed to be crated there, as I have had good house manners – no chewing or getting into things. The house camera shows that I just hang out and sleep until my people return. / My potty habits have been good in my foster home, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I LOVE to play with a ball and my toys. I also love snuggling and being a total lap dog! I’m also a big fan of the couch in my foster home, so hopefully my new home won’t mind that. My playfulness needs an outlet of my energy, so a fenced yard would be wonderful where we can have great play sessions together. / I can’t think of any real dislikes but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.
• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.
I am looking for a wonderful family to love me for life! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
