A SWEET SHY GIRL:  4 years old / 51 lbs.
When I first came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, everyone thought I was a shy and shut down girl.  But once I went into my foster home with other dogs, my tail started wagging and hasn’t stopped.  I was adopted (for a couple weeks) and retuned as I didn’t adjust to the home, and there wasn’t another dog to show me the ropes – MM’s will be glad to give you details about that.
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I will be the happiest and most confident in a home with other dogs.  In my foster home I’m an excellent doggie friend and I read social cues well and really want to be part of the pack.  I would love a doggie playmate in my home, so let’s meet / There is a cat in my foster home that has become my best friend, we sit in the sun together, and he lets me play with him, I am respectful most of the time, but sometimes I can’t contain  my excitement and chase him. He likes it, but the shy cat in the home does not appreciate my enthusiasm / Much older kids would be best as I do jump sometimes, and I was afraid and hid from the younger kids (7 and 11yrs) that I met at MM’s.  (also see personality below)
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a sweetheart who wants to be with my person ALL the time.  I will follow your every step.  I am good about reading what my person needs for me to do.  I do have a quirk that my foster mom is helping me with.  I love everyone, but when new people come in the home, I will bark at them but once they have gotten close for me to recognize they are friendly I want lots of attention from them.  But my bark is loud and can startle people.  My foster mom has made progress with me and can help you understand me better.  She is very happy to talk to you / Energy level: 5-7 and I’m good at matching my foster’s energy level, be it watching TV or going out for a walk or playing together.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am enrolled in Mostly Mutts University training program and so far, I know: ‘sit’, ‘place’, ‘down’ and ‘come’.  I’m working on ‘stay’.  I’ve also mastered my leash walking and that’s kind of my specialty as I am very good at it and I love walks / I sleep in a crate in my foster’s bedroom / My potty manners have been very good in my foster home.
• LIKES/DISLIKES:  I really enjoy belly rubs, treats, being near my people. laying in the sunshine, hanging out with my people as they watch tv or read and just about anything I can do with my people.  I’d really like a stay or work from home family member who I can hang out with / I don’t like being startled by people coming in the room, kissed on my head, loud noises and being alone.
• MEDICAL:  I came to MM’s with heart worms, but I’ve been treated for them and am doing great!  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.
If you are looking for a sweet sensitive girl to be your new furry family member, let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
