Hello! My name is Mercy! I am an adorable lady who found myself at animal control. Lucky for me, Mostly Mutts found me there also and is helping my on the road to my furever home! Yay for me!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I like the dogs I met at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown / I also haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over with my enthusiastic nature.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am playful and – even as I was leaving animal control – seemed to want to play and interact with people and dogs alike. I am a happy girl who is sure to put a smile on your face. I was a little timid at first in my temp. foster home, but this subsided as I felt more comfortable. I can be a bit stubborn at times, so a strong leader in the family who can spend time with my training would be a good fit for me / My energy level is 5-7.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: My leash manners are coming along, though I do pull and jump some right now. My main skill right now is charming the volunteers with my great nature, which I do quite well, if I do say so myself. They have noticed that I take treats nicely, so I bet you can help me polish my leash skills and teach me lots of great doggie commands / I do well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. Though I didn’t chew on anything I shouldn’t have in my temp. foster home, my foster mom crated me when she left. I experienced some separation anxiety and may be more likely to chew when feeling stressed about missing my people. I slept soundly through the night next to my temp. foster mom’s bed. / My potty skills have been good on the shelter schedule. They were also good in my temp. foster home, though I like to take my time when going potty and needed a longer walk to do my business.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love giving kisses, cuddling, and receiving butt scratches. I am not super interested in toys right now, as I focus my attention on my people and seek some nice petting at every opportunity.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.

I am looking for an active family with whom I can share a lifetime of adventures! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
