ADORABLE AND LOVING:  8 years old / 68 lbs. & needs to lose some weight  Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi there!  My name is Moose!  I am a super friendly guy who is described as ‘adorable’ by those who have met me.  I work hard at being just that - with my wagging, nubby tail and my sweet grunts when you pet me.  Somewhere in my past, I think I must have been pretty used to being fussed over, as nothing makes me happier than being loved on and getting lots of belly rubs.  My trademark move for getting your attention is to rub against you like a kitty – so cute!  I’m a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have mastered ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, and ‘leave it’ so far, and – since I take treats nicely, you can teach me even more!  My potty habits have been great in my foster home, I’ve been very obedient, and rarely bark. I sleep soundly through the night, and I love a good daytime nap – when I’m not soaking up the love from my people of course. My leash manners are pretty good with just a bit of pulling, but I love walking with the volunteers and – as smart as I am – I bet you can teach me not to pull as much.  I have not met other dogs yet, but I don’t react to the ones I pass on my walks, so if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet to see if we can be friends. I’ve met some kids in my foster home, including my very active 5-year-old foster sister, and I’ve just loved them all! I was very gentle and patient with them, and with my laid-back nature a home with children could be a good fit for me. I came to Mostly Mutts with some irritation on my back side and base of my tail, but medicated baths and an allergy medication called Apoquel are helping me feel much better!  Basically, I am a happy guy with a wonderful disposition who can’t wait to add some joy and good times to my furever home! Check out my Instagram page (@moosethegreatest) for even more Moose cuteness!  Energy level: 3-5.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
