A PLAYFUL & SWEET GIRL:  2 years old / 45 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi, my name is Nani!  I am a sweet friend to all the volunteers who are caring for me.  I warm up a little slowly, but my sweet nature comes out as we spend some time together.  The volunteers have noticed that in the play yards I am a goofy, playful, tail-wagger’ who loves rolling around and enjoying belly rubs!  When I first came to Mostly Mutts, I was quite anxious when on my leash – I startled easily, pulled a good bit, was fearful of traffic and tried to bolt. My trainer in the Mostly Mutts University training program has helped me overcome these fears, and now I’ve mastered loose leash walking!  I’ve also learned the ‘come’, ‘leave it’, and ‘go to your place’ commands and proper door etiquette. Training is fun, check back soon for updates on everything else I’m learning! Since my confidence increases ten-fold in the play yards, I need a secure fenced yard in my furever home - where I can romp, explore and play off-leash with you. Also, I still shouldn’t be walked by children just in case something spooks me, and I try to bolt. Right now, I seem more interested in human interaction than toys, so plan to spend lots of fun time with me! My potty manners are a work in progress, and I am having accidents on the shelter schedule. Hopefully in a quieter home with a nice backyard I’ll improve quickly, so please be consistent with me, so I can master my potty skills.  I’ve met some other dogs at MM’s and liked them, so if you have a sweet dog at home, let’s meet as I think I’d really enjoy another dog in my new home! I liked the shelter kitty and did well with her, so a feline friend could be fun too! I met a nice 10-year-old boy and his younger sister at the MM shelter and did well with them, so human siblings around 10 (or maybe a little younger) in my furever home could be a good fit for me! Energy level: 3-5 (will likely increase as I gain confidence in my new home) I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
