Peanut

Gender: Female
Breed: Chihuahua
Secondary Breed: Dachshund
Status: Adoptable

A WONDERFUL FAMILY DOG:  6 years old / 13 lbs.

Hi there, I’m Peanut!  I’m looking for a new home due to my family’s busy work and personal schedule, and them just not having enough time to meet my needs.

•  OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I like the 35lb. dog in my former home and we play as well as rest together, so let’s meet / I’m respectful of the kitties in my former home and I let them rub on me / There was a 1, 9, 12 and 14 year old in my former home and I enjoyed running around in the yard with the older kids, and did really well with the 1 year old too who I like to give kisses to.  When he cries, I’m alert to him and seem to have a genuine concern.  I think I’d really enjoy having kids in my new home who would give me attention and spend time with me. so, if you have gentle kids, let’s meet!

•  PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m described as sweet, gentle, loving, affectionate and tolerant.  I’m not a big barker but I do bark to alert you. / My energy level is moderate 4–6.

•  SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I know the “sit” command as well as the phrase “want to go outside” / I generally didn’t use a crate in my former home and did well without it when my family was away from home, though I was sometimes crated with a doggie friend in the home / My potty manners were very good in my former home.  I would stare and whimper at my people when I needed to go outside.

•  LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love laps and being with my people as well as following them around the home, visitors to the home because it’s more attention for me!  Also playing with all kinds of toys, bones and treats / Not getting enough attention from my family.  I also wouldn’t like it if you don’t let me show you affection and give you kisses.

•  MEDICAL:   I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.

If you’re looking for a great little companion and have lots of love and time to give, come and meet me!!
