A VERY NICE FELLOW:  9 years old / 17 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  I’m Royce, a sweet and mellow guy who also has a little frisky side when I get excited and when my former owner would say “run Royce run”, so cute!  I love back and head scratches and will come to you when you’re sitting for some nice scratches.  I’ve also been known to enjoy a belly rub.  I lost my dad a while back and his family helped me work my way to MM’s so I could find a new family to love and be loved by – perhaps it’s you?  My potty manners have been good on the schedule in my foster home and I’ve been doing well when she leaves for a few hours at a time and I haven’t needed a crate.  You can crate train me if you would like me to use a crate.  I used a doggie door too in my former home, so that’s good if you have one of those.  I like car rides and exploring in the garden which is one of my favorite things to do.  I come when my foster calls me, and I rarely bark.  I haven’t met dog’s at MM’s yet and didn’t live with one previously, so if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet.  My former owner said no to kitty cats, so I either don’t like them or perhaps we haven’t met – we would need to carefully meet to see how it goes if you have a kitty.  I’m working on ‘sit’ and on my leash manners now as I don’t think I was leash walked much in my former home – I’m learning.  Be careful around doors and gates as I may run out of them and I don’t want to get lost or hurt.  I can get a little underfoot as I like to follow you around – just wanted you to know that.  I sleep well in my foster mom’s bedroom in my own little bed and haven’t made a sound until I hear that she’s up for the day.  Though not a lap dog as of yet, I am friendly and sweet!  I gave my foster mom a nose kiss after a few days in the home.  I met a 12-year-old boy in a temp. foster home and was very good with him too, so if you have gentle kids around that age, let’s meet.  Energy level: 4-6. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
