A FRIENDLY & LOVABLE GIRL: 5 years old / 40 lbs.

Hi, my name is Ruthie! I was saved from a bad situation when a rescue went terribly wrong! Thankfully, I was able to come to Mostly Mutts with several other dogs and I’m doing great and happy to have a new lease on life with a great family! Perhaps you?

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: No dogs in my new home as I am reactive when they come near me. / Cats unknown / I met a nice 10-year-old girl and a boy slightly younger than that at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so kids around 10 (or slightly younger) in my new home could be a good fit, let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over!

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I have quickly earned the reputation with the volunteers as being ‘a wonderful dog’. I came to Mostly Mutts sweet, loving and ready to accept all the attention that comes my way. I have been calm, quiet and very well-behaved. My playful side emerged quickly and that is sure to bring lots of love and fun times to my new home. / My energy level is 4-6.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am excited to be a new student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer. I already know the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’ and ‘place’ commands. I have also demonstrated good leash manners. I bet you can teach me even more, as I am food motivated, so let’s make training yummy! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits have been pretty good with just a few accidents on the shelter schedule. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to spend time with people and enjoy playing ball in the play yard at Mostly Mutts. Having a fenced yard where we can play together would be great in my new home. Soaking up attention and affection makes me a happy girl. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise and training.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am receiving a medicated cream for the healing scratches on my face.

I am looking for a loving family dedicated to providing me with a loving furever home! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
