A PRETTY & SWEET GIRL:  1 year old / 47 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi, my name is Sophia!  I am a sweet and playful girl who enjoys my time in the play yards with the volunteers.  I have my own version of fetch.  You throw the ball and I will chase it but not return it.  LOL  In fact, I like to ‘collect’ my toys in a pile – so cute!  I will even take them into my crate with me to enjoy.  During my photo session, I threw the toys in the air and played by myself.  Basically, I can’t get enough of toys!  LOL  I am a smart gal, too and hope to do very well in the Mostly Mutts University training program, which I have just enrolled in.  I already know ‘sit’ and I’m sure I’ll be learning other new skills soon!  Check back to see what I know!  I may be a bit slow to warm up upon 1st meeting, but – I do love people, so it doesn’t take me long to welcome you as a new friend and perhaps get a belly rub.  Kids are different though as they have made me very anxious and I have had negative reactions to them, (barking, jumping at and growling) so a home without kids is what I’m looking for.  I’d also like to be you only dog as I met a few dogs at the shelter, and I was very unsure about how to interact with them. Though I did try to play with some of the dogs, I also tried to bite others. My trainer is working with me on this so that maybe I can have positive interactions with dogs in the future. But for now, I shouldn’t live with another dog, and I’m happy to provide all the doggie fun and love you need! My potty manners have been pretty good on the shelter schedule with just a few accidents.  So, please continue to be consistent with me so I can master my potty skills.  My leash manners are pretty good as well – with just a bit of pulling - so let’s make time for some nice walks together.  I can’t wait to meet you, so you can see my sweet and playful nature for yourself!  Energy level: 5-7.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed, and my adoption fee is $299.00 which also includes an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash.
