Hi there!  My name is Tia.  I’m thankful that MM’s came for me from animal control and I’m looking forward to finding a loving family!
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  When I first came to Mostly Mutts, I was very nervous and unsure around other dogs, but now that I’ve settled into my foster home, I’m very interested in other dogs and want to engage them in play. I’m just learning how to interact, so if you have a confident, playful doggie at home, let’s meet and take things slow / I was respectful of the shelter kitty, and I’ve been very respectful of the kitties in my foster home (once I understood that they did not want to play), so let’s meet / I was very scared when I met two children at Mostly Mutts (ages 7 & 11), but I didn’t show any aggression. I’m looking for a home with older kids (ages 15 and up) who understand to go slow with me, and of course, let’s meet.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a sweet girl who just wants to be loved. When I lived at the MM shelter, I was shy and timid. Now that I’m in a foster home where I feel comfortable, I’m a happy, tail wagging, playful girl! My sweet nature is blossoming more and more each day, and I love my foster mom and follow her around the house. Just go slow with me and give me a chance to warm up. Once I do, I enjoy the petting and will come back for more / My energy level is 4-6.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am enrolled in the Mostly Mutts University training program where I am gaining confidence and have already learned ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘leave it’, ‘go to your place’, and accepting friendly strangers without jumping. I’ll be learning lots more great commands with my trainer!  My leash manners are also good, but I’m intimidated by cars driving by, so a quiet place to walk is best as I gain confidence. / My crate manners are good in my foster home / My potty manners have been excellent in my foster home.
• LIKES/DISLIKES:  I thrive on attention and love to be pet. I love exploring the fenced back yard in my foster home and doing zoomies out there. I think I’d enjoy a game of fetch too! I’ve discovered toys and am so cute when I play with them. I like to take them out of the toy box and surround my bed with them. / I wouldn’t want to live in a home that is very busy with a lot of folks coming and going. I bark and try to hide when someone new comes in the house. If they are quiet and let me come to them, I’ve been their friend. I’m slow to warm up, but once I know you’re not going to hurt me, I have loved everyone.
• MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.
I am looking for a patient family to help me gain my confidence in a loving home.  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
